Hello there 🙂
This officially is my first post on this site, which was originally started in December last year. I had big plans for it, but as they say, life kind of got in the way. I hope to one day (in the not too distant future) transfer my blog (which also has been neglected) here.
Any who, in July (July 29, 2017, to be exact) I attempted to complete the Burning River 100 (BR100), a 100 mile point-to-point trail run in Northeast Ohio. As part of the event, I fund-raised for a private charity, the Giving Circle, a charity that supports the employees and families of Wilson Tool International. I am grateful to have been able to raise just north of $650, and as a thank you to those who made a financial contribution, I provided them a first- hand peak at my eBook, Burning River 100 – A Journey of a Lifetime.
The journey and adventure that was the BR100 was about so much more than another trail run. The journey, like so many others, paralleled life and was full of challenges and opportunities, and ultimately helped provide me with a deeper understanding of self and has left me in a place of new beginnings. In the honor of ‘new beginnings’, and as the first post on this site, I would like to now share my eBook with you. I hope that it may bring some insight of your own and possibly even a smile 🙂
Namaste
